SEARCH and REFOCUS restores the Human Touch SEARCH & REFOCUS is working towards ending the cycle of trauma and violence by providing evidence based resources which enable children and families to recover from trauma and to build safe and meaningful lives and quality communities. SEARCH & REFOCUS is a child trauma service program developed for Adolescents who have Offended Sexually, Victim Aggressor. It's for the overindulged Parents or non- Clinical Skill Staff. SEARCH & REFOCUS is an intervention program which was developed for Traumatized Adolescents diagnosed with PTSD, depressive symptoms, or those who have internalizing and externalizing behaviors. It is for an adolescent who has been a victim of sexual abuse or sexual assault; it is fr the child who has been exposed to dysfunctional intimacy, violence, Trauma Affective Cognitive functioning and Distressing Social Development. Search and Refocus is: • A person-centered “accountability concept” requiring the consumer, staff, Guardian and families to be actively involved, and responsible for the success of achieving identified service goals in the Person-Centered Plan. Coupled with unique approach to teaching clinical skills to Non-Clinical Staffs that are expected to provide quality Mental Health Treatment Services.

Dr. Wanda Brown-Ramseur, Ed.D LPC-S, LCAS, NCC, CCS, and Clinical Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist is a clinician in private practice at STEPS TOWARD SUCCESS PLLC, Greensboro, Winston Salem and Burlington, NC. She specializes in the treatment of attachment disorders and developmental trauma. Wanda is an advanced level trained clinician in EMDR and specific training in evidence based Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Wanda practices EMDR as a comprehensive approach to psychotherapy, particularly as it applies to attachment disorders and relationship issues, self-esteem, complex trauma, aggressive anger, inappropriate sexual behaviors and chemical dependency problems and treatment. Wanda also offers Clinical Supervision, Professional Development Coaching and Test Preparation for Counselors seeking certification or licensing as a Substance Abuse Counselor. She has advanced degrees in psychology, counseling as well as numerous certifications in substance abuse, EMDR, PTSD, Supervision, Addiction, Military, Diversity and specialized adolescent trauma interventions. Wanda is currently pursuing her doctorate in Mental Health Counseling and Trauma Specialties.
