In The Season Of Spells

The spellbinding, suspenseful story of how Myrddin and Nimue come together in an effort to keep Wales pagan - a magnificent novel set in a time when no life is safe, no law stable.

Nimue and Merlin meet and fall in love while the high king of Britain has died and a new king, a Christian king, will be named to the throne.

Pawns in a game of king-making, Nimue, her sister Gwenhwyfar, their brother Mordred and their cousin Aelwen's lives are useful to Morgen, the high druid priestess on Ynys Byr. She thinks nothing of using their attachments and love to thwart a destiny that threatens their existence.

Can Nimue and Merlin overcome fate and Morgen to save their own love and the lives of those around them?
In the Season of Spells is a retelling of the Arthurian legend of Merlin and Nimue.
