Not dated - thought to be 1780s. Edition and printing not known. This copy is very worn and in poor condition. The boards are in brown leather with five horizontal raised bands to spine. There are no titles. The leather is peeling to front tail edge by the spine and in two places on rear and on ends of spine. The front is very loose from the text block, rather discoloured and edge-worn. The end papers are slightly tanned and marked, with list of groceries and prices on rear free end paper; name of previous owner on rear paste down, name on front paste down and front free end paper is detached. The cut edges are very age-toned. The text block is in better condition and quite tightly bound, edges slightly tanned; some pages a little blurred. Fair condition. Rare. Overall condition is poor plus (due to disheveled boards). Reading copy.
