About the Author
Dr. Dwight Allen brings more than a voice to A Second Look at Sports. As the founder and president of A Second Look Sports Ministries, Dr. Allen has provided a vision of excellence both on the air and off. As the Sports Chaplain of the Air, Dr. Allen forges a unique blend of ministry experience and sports entertainment. Before the creation of A Second Look at Sports, Dr. Allen served for over 20 years in local church ministries. During this time Dr. Allen maintained more than a simple interest in the sports world. Dr. Allen served as scout for the Chicago Cubs, as a chaplain for minor league baseball, coached at the high school and college level, and had a weekly sports radio show. For the past few years, Dr. Allen has been the host of a daily sports show, Sports Talk on WFIN in Findlay, Ohio. In addition to this, he hosts Racing World on Saturday mornings.
