2nd edition. Later full leather binding. Five raised bands to spine. Gilt lettering on black leather patch to compartments 2 and 4. Gilt decoration to other compartments. Elaborate gilt border to front and rear boards. 9.5ins x 6.25ins, marbled endpapers, [iv], 277pp,1pp binding instructions plus 24pp colour plates by Thomas Rowlandson.Gift inscription (dated 1891) to one of the blank pages after the endpapers. Spine lightly sunned, else a VG copy in an attractive binding.
