Soft cover. Condition: Very Good+. Charles Aste, Jr. (illustrator). This printing , unspecified, but likely circa 1970s. Good, though comb binding is perhaps a little small for the number of pages so some pages are kind of curled around the spine and slightly offset. No markings. No title page, as issued. Plastic comb binding with stiff printed paper covers. Treatise on techniques for the gambling sleights known as the second deal, center deal and bottom deal. 142 pages. Seller Inventory # 125007

Seller rating 5 out of 5 stars 5-star rating, Learn more about seller ratings

Comb Binding with Cardstock. Condition: Good. Apparently self-published; No date or other publishing data; The title refers to the practice of sleight-of-hand, false dealing of playing cards - the kind of thing that would get you shot between the eyes 150 years ago. In addition to knowing how to cheat at cards, the author (Ed) is, or was, a pretty good writer, with good voice and a relaxed style. Lots of illustrations in and near the type written text. Comb binding seems a little narrow for all the pages, so some are in a permanent bind, but they are clear and readable. It''s old, but not too old, good shape, but not great shape. If trickery at cards interests you, this is your book. Professional book seller with storefront since 1975. All orders carefully packaged and promptly shipped. Seller Inventory # 47125
