About the Author: Robert Parry is a 27-year veteran of Washington journalism who broke many of the stories now known as the Iran-Contra Affair for the Associated Press and Newsweek in the 1980s. Among his awards is the 1984 George Polk Award for National Reporting. Parry was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 1985. His other books including Fooling America, a look at the decline of the Washington press corps, and Lost History, an examination of the hidden history of the Cold War conflicts in Central America.
