Born in Dublin, Ireland, one of AnneMarie Callan's earliest memories is of sitting in her class in Loreto Convent, Dublin and being handed a copy of the school magazine, only to see her own story published there. She remembers smelling the print and being very excited at having her story printed. It remains a lovely memory for her, just like the more recent memories of telling her Skellee Superhero stories to her grandchildren! :) She moved to the UK with her family as a young teen, married, had two incredible sons and now has four wonderful grandchildren. She spends each year between the UK and Spain. Previously a fashion designer, IT consultant and lecturer, online course developer and blogger, she now spends her time creating stories for the Skellee Superheroes of which she is aiming to have a series of 26! She also takes time out to write other children's stories and to paint, portraits being her favourite right now.
