Sherriff Buck Olsen is a 29-year veteran of law enforcement, grieving the loss of his wife the previous Fall. With crime in his childhood home of Beaufort County restricted to the occasional moonshiner or a kid with a bag of weed, he’s content to have an easy ride towards retirement.

In order to draw him out, Buck agrees to make himself a target and as the killer begins stalking him a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Eventually it will lead to a confrontation between two men with vastly different agendas, where the stakes are as high as they can be and only one will survive.
