The Secret Life of My Food Friends: Benny's Adventure in Nutrition, Digestion, Sleep Health, and Growing Strong

Do your food friends go to sleep when you do?

Benny is about to discover that theirs are just getting started!

Berry, Captain Cheese, Crackers, Pasta Pete, and Carrot Top turn ordinary mealtime into a funny adventure while helping Benny learn how food gives her growing body nutrients and energy.

But when Benny goes to sleep, the real secret begins.

Inside her body, nutrients travel where they are needed, her brain organizes memories and learning, growth builders help her bones and muscles, and millions of tiny cells work while she dreams.

The Secret Life of My Food Friends combines imaginative storytelling with age-appropriate science to introduce young children to nutrition, digestion, healthy sleep, growth, and brain development.

Perfect for curious young children who love funny characters and asking how their bodies work.
