Covering Santa's world from A to Z, this charming gift book takes a peek into the inner sanctum of the North Pole and contains as many surprises as a Christmas morning. As chunky as its subject, chock full of hilarious full-color illustrations, Santa Claus's strictly unauthorized biography contains a ho, ho, ho--or an oh, oh, oh--on every page. 125 full-color illustrations.

Review
Here is a (benign) peek behind the scenes at Santa's place, a peek that should appeal to adults as well as children. This book was originally published in France, and the text may have lost some of its sparkle in translation. The real treat, however, is Solotareff's artwork, which is bold, painterly, and gently comical.
