The Secret Life of Sloan the Sloth

Meet Sloan. Sloan is an average, everyday sloth...except that he is also a superhero. He does everything a normal sloth does, but he also has the ability to help out when his friends are in need. Join Sloan on a journey through his average day, which is anything but average. The book is full of lush, vibrant illustrations of Sloan's rain forest home. Part origin story and part coming of age story, The Secret Life of Sloan the Sloth is a perfect example of how even the most ordinary among us can do the most extraordinary things.

The book works well for a read aloud book for toddlers and early grade levels as well as being a good choice for an early reader in those age groups. It mixes light humor with actual facts sprinkled in about sloths and other jungle animals.
