About the Author

R. W. Holt lives in his childhood home in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Holt worked in the food service industry for thirty-five years and began writing books after he retired. Having written songs for his own enjoyment since the age of fifteen, he finally decided to use his aptitude for language to write stories.

His first book, Lion on a Leash, is a tribute to his first chow. The Secret of the Painted Pony is his second title in print.
