Engraved frontispiece, 85, [5], 717p, [27]. One inserted folded plate. Contemporary stiff vellum over boards with red stained fore edge. Parallel text in French and German. Second edition. First printed in 1681. Contemporary signature on the inside rear cover. Brunet III Col 1638. Graesse p491, Joecher III p446. Title page nicely printed in red and black. Damage to the edge of the front board, otherwise internally clean. A rather scarce edition.
