John Forbat started working for Vickers as a graduate apprentice assembling airplanes and soon graduated into Special Projects (later known as Guided Weapons) where he was involved in developing many projects from Blue Boar to TSR2. The book has been written with the cooperation of the Brooklands Museum and its archives, where the author is in the process of creating an exhibition of guided weapons
