She has spent the last twenty years working with children and families, the homeless population, individuals diagnosed with mental illness and survivors of domestic violence. Nicole is a graduate from Columbia University School of Social Work where she earned a Masters Degree in Social Work and an alumni of Capella University where she earned a PhD. Secrets Untold is Nicole's debut novel which is a follow-up to her dissertation topic: Understanding African-American Clergies' Experiences with Incidents of Domestic Violence Among Female Congregants.
