This book is for anyone who seeks straightforward and simple advice on how to how to juggle the responsibilities and challenges of modern life and still have fun…from stepping up as leader of the pack to staying focused, shaking off setbacks, pursuing your dreams, building long-lasting relationships and living fully while balancing work and play. Even cat people agree: Bella’s practical, commonsense advice inspires readers to be their own best “top dog” in life and business.

Who is Bella, and what makes her an expert on modern work life? For starters, Bella is a boxer. This makes her a member of the working dog category. But Bella is no ordinary working dog. Instead of herding sheep or guarding property, she works as the director of goodwill (D.O.G.) at a marketing firm in Portland, Oregon. In addition, she writes a popular pet blog and is the author of Secrets of a Working Dog: Unleash Your Potential and Create Success.

Typical of her breed, Bella is a fun-loving spirit who is happiest when like-minded dogs and their people surround her. She believes that too many humans are overworked and overstressed in this fast-paced 24/7 world. After dispensing advice to her own humans for years, Bella decided it was time to help busy people everywhere learn how thinking like a dog is the quickest and easiest path to a successful, well-balanced life.

Fortunately, Bella isn't the preachy sort. After all, she is a boxer and boxers have a great sense of humor (which explains why they are able to get away with so much mischief!). Her mission is to help humans get to the heart of what's important with humor, and to connect with their inner dog so they'll be not only happier but also more productive thereby leaving them with extra time to spend with their loyal, four-legged friends.
