About the Author

Timothy J. McIntosh serves as Chief Investment Officer and is the founder of SIPCO.  He oversees all aspects of major client accounts and serves as the lead portfolio manager for the firm's equity and bond portfolios.  He acts as the firm's chairman of the investment committee.  He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer.  He served as a Professor of Finance at Eckerd College from 1998 to 2008. 

Mr. McIntosh's is the author of The Bear Market Survival Guide, The Sector Strategist, and a contributor to the Comprehensive Financial Planning Strategies for Doctors and Advisors. His fourth book The Snowball Effect (snowballeffectbook.com) was released in August 2016.  He has been featured in such notable publications as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today,  Investment Advisor, Fortune, and The St. Petersburg Times.  He has been selected as a Five Star Professional 2016 Wealth Manager. Education
