Designing Zero-Trust Architectures for Multi-Agent AI Systems, Preventing Shadow Agents, Privilege Abuse, and OWASP ASI03 Risks
Your AI agents are not just answering questions anymore. They are making decisions, calling tools, accessing sensitive systems, spawning sub-agents, and acting across your environment at machine speed. If identity and access controls are weak, one compromised agent can become a hidden operator inside your infrastructure.
Securing Agentic Identity and Access Management is a practical, production-focused guide for building zero-trust identity and access controls for multi-agent AI systems. As agentic workflows grow more autonomous, traditional IAM approaches built for humans and static service accounts begin to fail. Long-lived credentials, broad permissions, weak delegation controls, and poor visibility create the exact conditions that allow shadow agents, privilege abuse, and uncontrolled execution chains to emerge.
This book shows you how to move beyond legacy IAM thinking and design security architectures built specifically for autonomous agents. Instead of offering abstract discussions about AI risk, it gives you a technical roadmap for controlling how agents authenticate, inherit permissions, delegate actions, access tools, and operate inside production environments.
Inside, you will learn how to:
- map OWASP ASI03 risks to real attack paths in multi-agent systems
- design zero-trust identity architectures for autonomous workflows
- replace static API keys with short-lived, cryptographically verifiable workload identities
- enforce task-scoped authorization and context-aware policy controls
- secure inter-agent delegation and prevent token passthrough, trust abuse, and privilege escalation
- detect and eliminate shadow agents operating outside approved guardrails
- build provenance, auditability, and action traceability from original intent to final execution
- apply these controls in real-world deployment patterns across modern orchestration and cloud-native environments
If you are building or governing autonomous systems in production, identity cannot be treated as an afterthought. Securing Agentic Identity and Access Management gives you a serious, actionable blueprint for building multi-agent environments that are secure, traceable, and controlled by design.
Build safer agentic systems, prevent shadow access, and take control of AI-driven identity before privilege abuse takes control of your environment.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
