Michael Howard is a security program manager at Microsoft, focusing on secure design, programming, and testing techniques. He is the author of Designing Secure Web-Based Applications for Microsoft Windows 2000 and the coauthor of two editions of the award-winning Writing Secure Code, both from Microsoft Press.
