Sediment Watch: Monitoring, Ecological Risk Assessment and Environmental Management

The purpose of this book is to provide the latest, if not complete amount of updated information regarding the use of sediments for the estimation of chemical pollution in the aquatic environment from three main perspectives, namely, monitoring, ecological risk assessment and environmental management. This book contains eleven chapters. The study was based on a review of more than eleven studies and the heavy metal data were re-analyzed for the enrichment factor and potential ecological risk index. These chapters investigated metal pollution by using sediment watch, reporting metal data for the first time.
