Seed of Deception

At the age of sixteen, while hunting for the birth certificate required for his driver’s test, Kenneth Lambert Ranick comes upon an old adoption agreement between his parents and a Candice Weaver. Suddenly, Kenny’s life is turned upside down. He has always believed Jamaliel Ranick, who died while giving him birth, was his biological mother, but this document convinces him otherwise. After a traumatic clash with his father, Kenny strikes out on his own in hopes of finding his birth mother, only to learn that she has also died, burned up in a housefire. Heartbroken and alone, Kenny travels the United States for four long years in search of love and acceptance. He finds both when he meets and falls in love with Jamie Feldon, a young woman who leads him to Christ. But when Jamie’s grandmother dies, an old letter in her attic again destroys Kenny’s peace. In an effort to untangle the web of deceit surrounding his birth, Jamie convinces Kenny to return home and confront his father. Will what he finds there bring him happiness or add to his despair?
