Seeing the Word: Refocusing New Testament Study (Studies in Theological Interpretation)

Second, Bockmuehl explores the text's early effective history by a study of apostolic memory in the early church.

Markus Bockmuehl (PhD, University of Cambridge) is Dean Ireland's Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture and a professorial fellow of Keble College, University of Oxford, as well as visiting professor at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum) in Rome. He is the author of numerous books and articles on the New Testament, early Christianity, and Jewish-Christian relations, including Jewish Law in Gentile Churches, Seeing the Word: Refocusing New Testament Studies, Simon Peter in Scripture and Memory, and Ancient Apocryphal Gospels.
