Each must deceive to cling to the truth. Along the way, their lives become entangled with numerous other characters - only a few of whom are known to history. These are ordinary lives, notwithstanding the drama. For some, the struggle between their faith and their society is simply too difficult - they will attempt to build a culture of their own, outside England, on a distant shore - in North America. About the Author

I am a child of the 50s; a "boomer" - a History buff and storyteller who especially likes stories that explain something about who we are and how we got here. My writing incorporates my love of history with my family genealogy - my ancestors actually lived through the events of this book.
