Seeking and Surrendering: Poetry on Soul, Self, and a Puzzling Life

Seeking and Surrendering: Poetry on Soul, Self, and a Puzzling Life is a soul-stirring collection that invites readers into a profound exploration of identity, purpose, and the enigmatic threads that weave through human existence. Organized into four evocative sections, this poetry anthology captures the tension between questioning societal constructs, yearning for inner truth, cherishing fleeting moments of connection, and embracing one’s place in the vast mosaic of life. With vivid imagery and raw emotional depth, these poems resonate with anyone who has ever wrestled with self-discovery, sought meaning in the chaos, explored mystical connection to the divine, or surrendered to the beauty of the unknown.

Puzzled By Norms, Rules, and Roles section challenges the constraints of societal expectations, from the weight of obligations in Rules in My Head, Obligations and Burdens We Carry to the quiet rebellion of Freedom and A Person First. Poems, such as Your Circle, Gladiators, and Sleepwalking, reflect on the struggle to break free from rigid roles and find authenticity amidst life’s demands.
Seeking delves into the restless pursuit of self and the divine, with poems like The Why, Empty Inside, and Reveal Me probing the heart’s deepest questions. From the introspective swirl of Questions to the hopeful surrender of Let Go and Empty Your Cup, this section captures the ache and aspiration of seeking connection and clarity.
Appreciation and Connection celebrates the fleeting, sacred moments that ground us, as seen in Living in Amazement, I Bow, and Moments Are Passing. Poems like Who You Are, Living In Amazement, and Wondering By The Lake honor our inner self, the beauty of nature, and the awe inspired by life’s simple wonders.
Part of a Whole expands the lens to contemplate our place in the universe, with I Am From, What’s Beyond, and I Am A Piece Of A Whole reflecting on interconnectedness and purpose. From the blurred lines expressed in Reality Or Dream to the introspective Behind The Eyes, these poems reflect on the deeper mystery of our existence.

Perfect for readers who find solace in poetry’s ability to mirror the soul, Seeking and Surrendering is a companion for navigating life’s puzzles, embracing vulnerability, and finding peace in both the search and the surrender.
