About the Author

Denise M. Cherry is a licensed certified teacher in both General Education and Special Education. "Segregation and Integration" is her second book and first publication. She is also author of "The Watering Hole: How and Why We Should Help Our Kids Love Learning". She retired from Montgomery County Public Schools in 2010. Denise Cherry is an online instructor with a national education company, and works full-time as a Special Educator in DCPS.
