Brown cloth boards with gilt titles to spine. Yellow paste-downs and feps. Rough-cut page edges. Boards are worn at the edges and spine. There are some small areas of loss to the most badly affected areas. Page edges are grubby. Binding is firm but slightly cocked and internally there is some dryness at the internal hinge. There is a prize bookplate to the front paste-down. Some pencil, and occasional ink, annotations throughout.
