Brown cloth with gilt lettering and embossed decorations. Spine is darkened, gilt lettering dulled and difficult to see, fray and loss to head and heel of spine. Boards rubbed and soiled, ringmark, spot to front cover, corners worn to boards, closed outside edges foxed and soiled. Paper at gutters on both pastedowns is split revealing mesh. Text shows some thumb smudging, but is overall clean and bright. Two full-color maps and profuse lovely and small black and white illustrations throughout. Explanatory, illustrative, doctrinal, and practical; with illustrations, maps, pictures, chronology of the Old Testament, chronology of The Acts, suggestions to teachers, library references. Studies in Nehemiah, Ezra, Esther, Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Minor Prophets, and in The Acts and Epistles.
