X pp + 51 pages and 3 leaves of notes at rear and colophon leaf with limitation details. printed on Van Gelder paper with uncut edges on Janson typeface, watermarked with lion in the hand-made paper weave. Cream limp vellum, gilt motif on cover and titles down the spine, minor dust residue on high points, but will wash with soap and water and cotton wool, plain paper card slip case a little darker than when new, no splits. A near fine copy of this special edition. Makes a lovely gift book idea! Press founded by Francis Meynell and his wife in 1922.

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
