This title is no. 67 in the Nonesuch catalogue, printed in Monotype Caslon on machine-made laid paper (McKitterick et al, 67). Includes "Some contemporary appreciations": pp. 55-[58]. Alice Meynell (1847-1922) was a celebrated poet, prolific essayist and committed suffragist. 'W. M.' was her husband, the publisher and editor, Wilfred Meynell. Their youngest son, Francis, ran the Nonesuch Press with his wife, Vera, and David Garnett.
