Hilda Doolittle, in her younger days, was considered an Imagist poet. but she considered such appellations as pointless, and moving on, said she wrote whatever pleased her. Doing so has pleased generations of readers, who appreciate the depth and wisdom found in her poetry. This Grove Press edition, which is now OP, has a nine digit SBN number (394-17329-5), which places this Eighth Printing as circa 1968. The photograph on the front cover was taken by B.
