Illustrated cloth covers with a brown faux leather spine. Gold lettering on spine is bright. There are 2 small check marks in the margin of one of the Table of Contents pages. The rest of the text is clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. Includes a brown slipcase that is in very good condition with light shelf wear and sunning on the covers and edges. "The poems contained in this edition are selected from the Definitive Edition of Rudyard Kipling's Verse published by Hoddard & Stoughton Limited in 1940. The text of this edition follows that of the Definitive Edition with minor emendations. A wonderful publication with the quality expected from The Folio Society. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-lib unless stated.
