This book aims to bring together studies using different data types (panel data, cross-sectional data and time series data) and different methods (for example, panel regression, nonlinear time series, chaos approach, deep learning, machine learning techniques among others) and to create a source for those interested in these topics and methods by addressing some selected applied econometrics topics which have been developed in recent years. It creates a common meeting ground for scientists who give econometrics education in Turkey to study, and contribute to the delivery of the authors’ knowledge to the people who take interest. About the Author
Ebru Çağlayan Akay is a Professor of Econometrics at Marmara University in İstanbul, Turkey. Her major research interests are applied micro econometrics, nonparametric econometrics and panel data econometrics. She has published over 50 academic papers and authored over 10 books.
Özge Korkmaz is an Assistant of Professor at Bayburt University in Bayburt, Turkey. She obtained her master’s degree in Econometrics from Dokuz Eylul University in İzmir, Turkey and her PhD from Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. Her major research interests are applied macro econometrics, financial econometrics and panel data econometrics. She has published over 25 academic papers.

Returns Policy
We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
