The author was the Minister of St. Johns Church, Wetley Rocks, Staffordshire and was a member of the Sneyd family of Keele Hall, Staffordshire. Third thousand. Pocket size book 5.5" x 4". Leather bound. Ends of spine worn with patches of rubbing to the spine, extremities and boards. Binding firm. Content generally clean and bright. Possibly lacking half-title. Ink inscriptions to front and back pastedowns: Frederick Salt, Police Constable, Wetley Rocks, 16th May 1869. Some pencil markings to ffep. Not ex-library. 218 + 36 pp appendix.
