Miniature hardcover measuring approximately 3"x4.5"x0.75". Bound in a dark green cloth over boards with gold lettering on the spine. Cloth is worn, with stains/spotting. Cloth is starting to split along both sides of the spine, but there is otherwise minimal fraying/seperation. Both front and rear gutters are cracked, but the text block remains tight and secure with all pages present and attached. Corners are slightly bumped. Pages are toned throughout with foxing and spotting along the fore edge. Interior foxing is concentrated near the begging and end of the text block. Previous owner inscription on FFEP dated December 25th, 1917. 192 Crocker and Brewster. Title page is dated 1834. A good copy. Please email with questions or to request photos. Note: if there is a photo beside this listing, it is a STOCK photo that ABE put there (for reasons that we cannot understand or control) and might to match this actual book.

Store description
We're at 805 Caroline Street, in the heart of Fredericksburg's historic district. Open Monday to Saturday 10-6; and Sunday 12-5. In warmer months we stay open until 9 most nights, but you might want to call ahead. (540) 373-6148 Shipping rates are for Media Mail, in a padded envelope - WE DO NOT ADD TRACKING UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS IT AND PAYS FOR IT - we have been selling books online for more than 20 years & find that the USPO delivers 99.99% of packages quickly and safely, without any need for a tracking number. We trust them & we hope you will too. If you need tracking, please consider PRIORITY SHIPPING. We ship orders valued at more than $50 in a box, at no additional charge. Priority mailing is for a Flat-Rate envelope, with tracking included. If the book does not fit into a flat rate envelope, we will likely need to request extra shipping costs from you, in order to put it in a box. We only charge the actual amount of shipping, so we hope you'll understand that it's just a matter of getting the book to you without taking a loss on it -- shipping is a service we happily offer without a 'handling' charge.... but we can't afford to charge you less than the cost of the stamps!…

Terms of sale
Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
If you'd like tracking, please let us know before you place the order - We're happy to do it but it costs $1 extra because it means we have to print a shipping label for it individually, slowing down the shipping process considerably -- and we want to be able to keep basic shipping costs as low as we can.
