Self-Confidence Is Overrated: A practical guide to become a better companion (Paperback or Softback)

What if the self-confidence you are chasing is actually holding you back instead of pushing you forward?

We live in a society obsessed with self-confidence. We are told that without it, we can’t succeed or feel fulfilled. But what if this constant pursuit is actually a trap—one that creates more insecurity, doubt, and tension?

I am Susana Serrano-Davey, and after more than 30 years in the corporate world, I have seen how the pressure to appear confident and self-assured can become a burden. In this book, I invite you to challenge the belief that confidence is the key to a fulfilling life and to discover a much more powerful inner force.

It is not for those who overflow with confidence to the point of arrogance, nor for those who feel completely stuck and unable to take the first step. It is for people like you—normal people who want to grow and find practical tools to improve without relying on external validation.
