The Self-Help Paradox: Revolutionary Healing Through the Wisdom of a Course in Miracles

The Self-Help Paradox: Revolutionary Healing Through the Wisdom of A Course In Miracles is a book of clear spiritual answers and life changing practices to help readers overcome the confusion of today's self-help marketplace.

Life is a complicated endeavor, but we can find reams of advice to help us through. So much, in fact, that we could spend our entire lives reading and studying instead of becoming the beautiful, powerful person we are meant to be. Without clarification, the world of spiritual growth can be confusing and full of contradictions. People wonder "Am I at peace, or just lazy?" "If I love someone should I set them free, or are all relationships to be valued as a source of personal learning?" "Should I visualize every detail in order to manifest my dreams, or should I trust God and just go with the flow?"

The Self-Help Paradox provides solutions to these quandaries. Through David's engaging, lighthearted and deeply spiritual words, we discover the vision behind our cluttered lives: We can be in constant contact with Spiritual Truth and it will lead us to understand our role as healer, savior, peace-maker, sage and joy-filled, exuberant personification of God's Plan!

I wrote this book because I sometimes see people, organizations and our society getting "stuck." Stuck in our dramas, our stuff, our history, our illusions, our egos. Like many people, I read the experts and learned all about why I was stuck (and sometimes was told to just be content with being stuck). But I believe that our purpose in life is to move forward and grow. This book is about accepting responsiblity for greatness, getting unstuck and healing (ourselves and our world).
