The Self-Love Oracle (Cards)

What would it be like to truly love yourself unconditionally? The Self-Love Oracle teaches that loving yourself is the first step toward self-acceptance, giving the reader the ability to walk through daily situations with confidence, strength, and courage.

Many have been taught to believe that accomplishment is based on material worth: how much money we have, how we look, what we own. When chasing success, we can still feel empty, directionless, overworked, and under-appreciated. These feelings are strong signs that you may need to do some emotional and spiritual work. The Self-Love Oracle can help you learn how to become more mindful, practice good self-care, set boundaries, protect yourself, forgive yourself, and live intentionally. Self-love is an action and it requires practice.

We are all perfection but societal conditioning, childhood experiences, and media messages can often make us feel inadequate, limiting what we feel we deserve or what we can do. Healing and pushing past our conditioning can be a long journey.

The Self-Love Oracle is a guidebook and deck of 44 cards, each bearing a different affirming and loving message. This deck provides the inspiration and confirmation that we all deserve the best life has to offer.

The cards feature the watercolor paintings and writing of Singaporean artist Janet Chui. The fantastical and mythical images are accompanied by short, powerful messages, drawn from nearly two decades of the artist discovering her own purpose.

Janet Chui was born in Singapore. Since childhood, she found refuge and expression in drawing things both real and imagined. She is a professional artist who has created fantasy, spiritual, and mythological paintings over her lifetime, and in 2009 she was a finalist for the World Fantasy Award for Best Artist.

Janet has a bachelor of arts in journalism and is currently studying counseling psychology. She has experienced motherhood, divorce, Tibetan Buddhism, healing, and the supernatural, all of which encouraged her to help others heal through self-acceptance and creative expression.
