Synopsis
Imagine a life of street crime. What began as typical teen rebellion became cycles of dodging the police, nodding on the corner, and seeing your friends and loved ones shot or killed. Then someone tells you the truth - God loves YOU. Though you can barely believe it you do, because their voices bring hope of a better life. Like a child learning to walk, you stumble through life less and now you can run. As your life slowly changes for the better you begin to see and hear things that no longer ring true. You're learning for yourself that God's love for you is real, but the way you're being taught to serve Him is - not true. The more you study the Word of God for yourself, the more you realize that the people you looked up to have been selling you something you don't even need. Now what? The life of Robert Anderson is a true account of how God can even use a cult to clean you up, but it is He that does the true saving. About the Author
A native of Detroit Michigan, Robert Anderson was a rebellious youth who ran away to the streets full of crime, drugs and death. After over 30 years of self-chosen agony he escaped the streets by joining The Spiritual Israel Church & Its Army. By all appearances, Robert Anderson prospered under their false doctrine. Though in earlier years he believed the organization's doctrine to be sound, he now knows that its teachings are false. For 25 years, he embraced the organization's doctrine moving through the ranks of Deacon, Minister, Elder, and Assistant Pastor. A graduate of the organization's Israel Spiritual School of Theology, he was an Assistant Pastor at Temple #2 in Chicago, Illinois. Years later he became the Assistant Pastor of Temple #8 in Detroit, Michigan. It was within this Organization that he met his wife of over 30 years, Jo Ann. Under the teaching and encouragement within the organization, Pastor Anderson received his GED, a degree from Wayne County Community College (WC3) in Associate of Applied Science Computer and Data Processing, a degree from Detroit College of Business in Bachelor of Business Administration; and with honors in both degrees. A salaried employee of AT&T he learned about diversity, through the opportunity to work with people from various cultures and ethnic groups. As he traveled the USA for AT&T, he learned there was more to the world than the streets of Detroit. Even so, by God's mercy through it all, at God's calling he walked away from the fallacy that he once zealously taught others. Pastor Anderson now dedicates his life to studying the sound doctrine of Scripture and apologetics with the hope of warning and teaching others how to come out and/or avoid the cults and false doctrine. Today, as a Bible believing Christian he serves as an Associate Pastor licensed under Pastor Emery Moss Jr. at Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching Ministries.
