8vo in purple cloth. Wear on corners and spine. Scotch tape forms a rectangle on the spine. Part of spine is faded but author and title still visible. Deckled edges. Contains photo and signature of Alexander Kohut. Interestingly, the first end page is dedicated by Margaret Kohut Kohn to Peggy, her daughter. Margaret was Alexander's granddaughter, and the author's niece. She urges her daughter to draw inspiration fro the great scholar her grandfather was. Kohut authored a 4,000 page work called Arukh HaShalem which took 25 years to write.
