Don't Send A Dude

In "Don't Send A Dude," legendary Western author Des Dunn, writing as Gunn Halliday, crafts a blistering tale of raw frontier justice and redemption. Drifting gunman Buck Halliday arrives in the dying town of Random Creek seeking only a hot meal and a bath, but instead finds a community paralysed by fear.

The peace is shattered when Halliday discovers a young boy, Nathan Birch, tied to a corral while a lawless mob lynches his father. Despite his efforts to intervene, the boy is gunned down in cold blood, leaving Halliday caught in a deadly vendetta against the corrupt Sheriff Lem Pritchard and the ruthless land-schemer Jay Denton.

As the drought-stricken valley boils over into violence, Halliday must choose between his survival and protecting two women caught in the crossfire: the grieving widow Larraine Rushton and the conflicted Sharon Creevey. Packed with gritty gunfights and classic Western grit, this is a story where the only law is a fast draw.
