Recognizing that God has a job for you, an important role for you to play in the Body of Christ, is only the first step to fulfilling your purpose. You must yield yourself to His direction. You must remove the roadblocks in your life that are preventing you from reaching your true potential in the Lord. You must recognize the gifts and the resources that God has given to you, and learn how to use them for His glory. Not all Christians are called to be leaders in the church. Even so, every action that we take in our daily lives can be a form of ministry. Make your life one that says, "Here Am I, Send Me!"

It took a near fatal plane crash for God to get Alan Barrington's full attention. Since then, he has traveled across the country speaking in churches and on programs such as The 700 Club, 20/20, Sally Jesse Raphael, The Today Show, and American Journal sharing what he has learned about finding God's plan for our lives, and learning how to walk in it.

Alan is the Executive Director of Driving Force Ministry, and a graduate of Oral Roberts University and Christ Unlimited Bible Institute. He is the author of many articles on Christian family life that have been published in a number of Christian periodicals, and a Christian children's book entitled, The Truth About Santa Claus. He and his wife Beverly have four children.
