Peter J. Strauss was a pioneer in the field of elder law. He is a partner in the New York law firm of Epstein, Becker & Green, and adjunct professor of law at the New York Law School. He is also a founding member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the coauthor of the professional treatise, Aging and the Law.
Nancy M. Lederman serves as an administrative law judge for New York State agencies, hearing cases involving education, health, banking, social services, and disability law. She is an associate adjunct professor at Bank Street College of Education, where she teaches education law, and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is president and founder of Educational Frameworks Inc., a consulting firm concentrating in education and health-related fields. Her play Fanny and Portia, about aging, won the Dorothy Silver Playwriting Award.
