About the Author

Texas Attorney Paul Premack has been in private legal practice in Texas since 1982.

He earned his BA at the University of Texas at Austin and his JD at the University of Houston.

He writes a weekly legal column (Printed on Fridays) for the San Antonio Express-News. He writes a monthly column for the Austin Area Senior Advocate Newspaper.

In addition to "The Senior Texan Legal Guide" (now in its Fourth Edition) Paul Premack is Texas consulting attorney for the book "When Someone Dies in Texas."

Mr. Premack is past-President of Guardianship Services, is currently on the Board of the Elder Information Library and the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and has spoken on elder law topics for the Texas Bar Association and a variety of groups around the state.

Mr. Premack's Internet and San Antonio law practice focus on the legal needs of the elderly.
