A collection of essays from one of the founders of Partisan Review. The text of this copy is clear, bright, and unmarked except for a yellowing discoloration on two pages where a newspaper article had been placed. Also on the fep, there is a "With the Compliments of the Author" sticker. The binding is tight, but age on edges. The jacket is very good but its edges show wear and rubbing. Apparent first edition--first appearance of book. We have a five star rating because of our successful fulfillment and because our descriptions are accurate. We guarantee NO NASTY SURPRISES.
