It examines the writings of the authors of the Bible to understand where and how they obtained their knowledge and to what extent their concepts are truly from God the creator. It then compares their teachings with man's concepts of organized religion as well as one's personal beliefs. This book shows the why and wherefore of man's existence.

Born into a Baptist family with parents of Quaker background, Roger Powell was taught the Christian interpretation of the Scriptures and Christian doctrine from his earliest youth. As he prepared to become a missionary, he experienced a religious death and rebirth similar to the Apostle Pauls.
