Poetry.
SENTIMENTAL BLUE, the newest collection of Tucson's Jefferson Carter, returns with notable humor to themes of marriage, parenthood, drugs, writing, and faith.
"The poems embrace small, familiar words and build to an understated universality"--Arizona daily star.
"Carter's work is not mainstream. It is very idiosyncratic. It takes on issues that are touchy and satirical in a way that is challenging to the reader"--Charles Alexander.
