About the Author: Phillip C. Wankat, Clifton L. His teaching, research, and service awards have included Purdue's College of Education's 2007 Distinguished Education Alumni Award, the Morrill award (Purdue University's highest faculty award), and the 2016 AIChE Warren K. Lewis award.
