Separation of Sins

David Phillips' second novel is a DC thriller of corruption and deceit at the intersection of religion and politics. The story starts with the murder of three high-ranking Catholic Priests by Jonathan Hill, who was molested by the priests when he was a boy. The revenge killings set off a series of high-stakes cover-ups that tie the Vatican and the United States Senate together. The truth is only unraveled by the heroic efforts of Trista, a Washington Post reporter, and her DC Detective boyfriend Nate.
