Fair Second Edition, published soon after the First as a result of criticism from reviwers that Innes wanted to address.p303 plus index and 8 page publisher's catalogue dated Oct 1897. All maps as called for in VG condition.Boards are faded and dampstained with bumped corners and spine ends, spine is faded. Front hinge is starting to give but the binding remains tight. Offsetting to eps. The text is generally clean and unmarked, save for the occasional smudge, although there are losses to pages 141-144 that don't affect the text.a decent copy of a scarce book.
